Psychotherapist

I can help you with whatever challenges you may be facing.

Humanistic therapy based on compassion and kindness.

Maybe you want to talk about something specific such as anxiety or depression. Maybe you don’t know what is wrong, but you feel alone, lost, overwhelmed or disconnected. Whatever it is, I can help.

I create a space where we meet as equals. I don’t have all the answers, but I can help you to notice patterns of behaviour, gain more self-awareness and understanding and feel a greater sense of choice and connectedness.

Alongside my work with private clients, I work part-time for the NHS where I have a specialism in addictions work.

I also work with couples, using emotionally focused therapy (EFT). Through noticing and understanding negative patterns of behaviour, couples move from feeling isolated and defensive to understanding and communicating their own fears and longings. Together, we will work with the root causes of your relationship issues and create lasting change.

I also work with organisations across the charity and third sector, providing group supervision for employees alongside individual psychotherapy sessions.

Whatever it is that brings you to me, I will meet you with care and empathy.

You can come to my peaceful therapy room in the Preston Park area of Brighton, or we can meet online.

Meet Pippi, my therapy dog.

If you like dogs, Pippi will give you a warm welcome.

If not, she’ll be elsewhere.
